Great new North End spot
"My girlfriend and I went here a few Fridays ago. We were looking for a low key night out with some nice Italian food and we had heard great things about La Galleria 33. Boy were they telling the truth. From the moment we sat down we had a great experience. The hostess was super accommodating, giving us a great table by the window, the waitress came right over. We both had veal dishes (I can't remember the exact names) that were AMAZING. What I thought was real plus was that they had Peroni ON DRAFT!!! I can't name more that five places in Boston where I have seen Peroni on draft. If you are looking for a new place to go in the North End and are tired of the same old thing, you should definitely take a trip to La Galleria 33, you won't be disappointed."

"Went there in late Sept (birthday dinner)... David greeted us outside, as if we were family. Very charming. We were seated promptly and in a cozy corner (perfect). It has a relaxed, romantic ambiance. My date had some type of stuffed veal (incredibly flavorful and juicy!!) and I had the halibut special (exceedingly fresh but a TAD too much butter used on the grilled fish). This is a true hidden treasure of a restaurant!"
An Amazing Spot to Celebrate
"My siblings and I took my parents to La Galleria 33 to celebrate their wedding anniversary. We wanted to take them somewhere young and trendy that had a menu we could all enjoy. Among the six of us, we had a delicious antipasto, linguini and white clam sauce, gnocci, swordfish, lobster rav, a shrimp and scallop pasta dish, and a meat smorgasbord. Each of us loved our choice, in addition to the samples we had of each other's meals. The wine selection was divine. And we fell in love with our server and the managers/owners. At one point, my dad spilled a full glass of red wine from the bottle we ordered, and within 60 seconds, he had a fresh tablecloth and a full glass. A spot I thought would be trendy ended up to be chic and timeless. My parents are already making plans to introduce their friends to their hip, new restaurant find."

"Over the years the North End has lost many of its good restaurants, only to be replaced by over priced, over rated, "gourmet" establishments. It's kept me away for a long time. My friends that have been living in the North End for about 8 years told me about this new place that opened and invited me to join them because I "just had to try it". As soon as I walked in I thought Oh here we go again. I couldn't have been more wrong. The service was extremely friendly, the food was excellent and beautifully plated. Although I still miss the great restaurants of yesteryear, I am very pleased that I tried this new place. It most definately represents a great restaurant. It has that certain something that made us feel welcomed and more importantly appreciated. Nicely done La Galleria!"
